Stella PADD – an innovative system for stabilizing performance substrates designed for horses.

STELLA GREEN has introduced a new product called STELLA PADD. It is an innovative and practical system for stabilizing performance floors for horses in equestrian centers. It is a modular solution consisting of specially designed elements in the form of openwork grids. The Stella Padd equestrian substrate stabilization system was developed on the basis of consultations with professionals and stable owners, as well as the company’s own extensive experience in already offering similar solutions in stabilizing usable surfaces in ecological parking lots.

Stella Padd is the solution used on:

  • riding arenas
  • horse accommodation
  • carousels for horses
  • paths for horse stretching around equestrian facilities

“Finally, someone thought about the requirements of our industry […] the bars are not fragile, and this has always been a problem when faced with the strength of the legs of a shod horse.”

K.S. Centurion, is the largest dressage center for sport horses in Poland. In cooperation with Ms. Dominika Kraśko, the trellis was installed as a ground stabilizer in the horse carousel. The carousel works 6 hours a day, all horses are shod on four legs.

“Finally, someone thought about the requirements of our industry – firstly, the grilles are not brittle, and this has always been a problem when confronted with the force of a shod horse’s legs. Secondly, the unique jointing system means that the grids do not lift anywhere, which is a phenomenal effect. I am not saying this based on a few days of observation. The horse carousel has been in operation for 10 months with the new ground solution, that’s more than 1,800 hours under the horse’s hooves!!! And it is performing sensationally. A very important element of professional horse substrates is the absence of guttering where they walk most often and the prevention of potential injuries. Big respect to the team at Stella Green for their patience, their focus on quality and their decision to test their prototype in such a demanding way. I would use these bars as a base for quartz yards, grass yards and small paddock quarters without hesitation. For the carousel, it is an absolute requirement.”

Stella Padd is easy to install and convenient to use

An important feature of STELLA PADD gratings is the way the individual components are connected during installation. Installation of the equestrian ground stabilizing grating is easy and does not require special expertise. Depending on the size of the object, it is necessary to use the appropriate equipment and prepare the required amount of material. Today there are many manufacturers on the market who offer similar solutions. However, it is important to consider items that will optimally meet the expectations and requirements of users.

Grilles during use do not undergo the so-called keying against each other and are safe for horses. The construction of the grilles in the form of a dense honeycomb structure is very solid and maintains high pressure even on a small area of the hoof. In addition, the individual cells of the grids have mini retention reservoirs at the bottom, which allow the substrate to retain moisture longer during use. At the same time, the cells in the trellis are designed in such a way that the filling material does not migrate into the ground.

An innovative solution for horse and rider safety.

Nowadays, modern solutions that reinforce surfaces are required at equestrian facilities or stables. STELLA PADD gratings, when installed, form an integrated stabilizing system. They can be filled with any loose material, so full drainage is ensured. In addition, the area with the grating constantly maintains an even surface. In addition, the upper surface of the gratings is non-slip.

In addition to safety and comfort, it is important to take care of the environment. The manufacturer of the STELLA PADD grille uses its own raw material for production, consisting of pure polypropylene and post-industrial polyethylene, free of heavy metals. This is undoubtedly an important pro-environmental factor in STELLA PADD grilles.
