Tests conducted by the German TÜV SÜD confirm their durability and reliability. Grass grids are resistant to compression, acids (such as acid rain) and other adverse weather conditions.

7. Grass grid- step by step installation

Installation of the Stella Green grass grid is relatively simple and quick.

It is necessary to prepare the ground, i.e. remove the layer of soil to a level that will allow all layers of the substructure to fit (it is advisable to maintain a 1-2% slope in the best direction of rainwater runoff). Then the area should be covered with geotextile (100-300 g/m²). The next step is to backfill the site with a base layer.

After that, the geotextile should be laid again, and a leveling layer should be spread over it, and the mixture should be compacted with a compactor. In the final step, the grids are laid on the prepared surface and filled with material such as aggregate or seeded grass. The grass grid can be easily cut to fit any shape and size of the surface.
